are from Aley: Andy Herting and Jon Mercer. Everyone is
welcome to attend.

CANNED GOODS and lots of them (hundreds) are needed
for our VBS projects. Following VBS all items will be
donated to St. Paul's food pantry. You may leave your
donations on the table in the Hospitality Center. Thank

UMW EVENING CIRCLE will host their end-of-year dining
out on Monday, May 5 at the Wellington Grille in Beavercreek
at 6:30 p.m. All Aley women are invited. RSVP to Susan
Lehneis.
SOUP SUPPER ON TUESDAY, MAY 6 will be sponsored by the
Mission Team to help support the Ecuador trip. Members
of the team will bring some South American dishes to share
to give us a taste of Ecuador. You are all welcome to
bring anything you wish to share for dinner, but we will
provide some authentic South American dishes. Please come
and join us!
THE GENEALOGY GROUP will be taking a field trip Tuesday,
May 6, to the Columbus Library. All participants should
bring a lunch and be here by 8:15 a.m. to carpool. We
will return around 4:00 p.m.
POTLUCK AND SPECIAL PROGRAM to be held here at Aley
on Sunday, May 18, from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. The potluck
will begin at noon with the program following at 1:00.
Rev. Craig Schneider from Good Samaritan Hospital will
present the program "Living for Today; Planning for
Tomorrow," a timely topic for all adult age groups
with the focus being on making end-of-life decisions.
THE ANNUAL IHN GOLF MARATHON is coming up on May 19.
This is the major fundraiser for the Interfaith Hospitality
Network. We have 4 golfers from Aley playing in the event
(Aaron Barrett, Tom Clinch, Gary Maynard, Keith Simpson)
who will be looking for sponsorship support each Sunday
from now until May 18. Please sign up in the Hospitality
Center and support both our golfers and the IHN.
GREENEWOOD MANOR BINGO takes place the second Tuesday
of the month. We welcome volunteers to come spend about
an hour providing companionship and assisting the residents
in playing bingo. Also, small items are needed as prizes
for the residents to win. The ladies especially enjoy
costume jewelry. Your prize donations may be left in the
box near the upstairs elevator door. If you would like
to help with this ministry or have questions, contact
Irma Thompson.
