MINISTRY
Big Balloon Blast-Away

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Romans 12:1-2

We are given many opportunities through Aley Church to serve God's people. We are working to provide you more specific ways to serve in the Church. We have developed Ministry Teams that meet from 6:00-7:00 every Sunday night. The Praise Team leads all Youth Worship services. The Drama Team provides skits for Adult and Youth Worship services. We will also begin a Banner-Making Team to provide our church with beautiful art to display.

MINISTRY EVENTS

"Ministry" is the youth word for worship. In a nutshell ministry is showing others the love that God has shown us. We believe ministry is important because the Greatest Commandment in Matthew 22:37-40, Jesus replied, "'Love the Lord your God with all you heart and with all your soul; and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.'"

Everything Jesus did was born out of love. When He was healing people physically, teaching people spiritually or providing for the material needs of people, He was showing them God's love. He was ministering to them. We have a number of different ways that you can be a part of ministry at Aley Church. There are always needs in the Children's Ministry for youth workers. We have a great music program that we would love you to be a part of as well. If you have a burden for a particular ministry within the church or community and you need guidance on how to begin, let Dave Warner know so we can all work together for God's glory.
