Our Leadership
In 2008, Aley Church adopted an accountable leadership structure. Our structure provides clear roles for each individual, staff member, and committee.
Members are engaged in ministry as they first reach out to the community, then care for one another. Every other roles exists to support the ministry of the members.
Staff members equip members for ministry and coordinate the ministries done by the members. Our ministries and staff are organized around five strategic areas that help us live out our mission: inviting, worshiping, discipling, caring, and serving.
The pastor provides vision, direction, and teaching, and guides the work of the staff.
The church council provides governance and oversight of the church on behalf of Jesus Christ. The church council is comprised of thirteen people—the pastor and twelve church members elected by the congregation. Six council members are elected to specific positions. The other six are elected to serve rotating three-year terms as at-large members.
