Music Ministries

The music ministry at Aley Church exists to give glory to God through music.
The Chancel Choir at Aley is an adult vocal choir that leads worship during the 9am sunday morning service. In addition to providing special music, the choir also visits local assisted care ficilities to bring joy and music to the residents. The choir rehearses September through May on Wednesday evenings. Anyone with a talent for singing and a heart for the Lord is welcome to join.
The Celebration Ringers are a group of musicians who form a four-octave English handbell choir. They assist in worship at the 9am worship service on a monthly basis. The ringers participate in the Greene County Spring every year. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from September through April. For more information, please contact interim director Cheri Warner.
Leading worship at the 10:30am worship service is Aley’s praise team, Defying Gravity. This team consists of singers and musicians on guitar, bass, piano and drums. The passion of the group is to lead the congregation in praising the Lord through contemporary Christian music. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings, and the team accepts new members through audition. For more information, please contact Shelly Murphey or Ryan Dunn.
The Aley Singers is a small vocal group that aids in leading worship on a monthly basis, special music and teaching the congregation new songs.
Aley Kidz JAM (Joy And Music) is a vibrant singing group for children in grades two through five. The children learn how to read music, use percussion instruments and sing all while giving praise to God. This group follows the school calendar and rehearses in between Sunday morning worship services.
