Rev. Abby J. Lightle has served at Aley since June 1, 2019 and as the Associate Pastor she currently serves as the Pastor of Outreach and Family Life. In this role, Pastor Abby oversees the mission and outreach ministries of the church and seeks new opportunities for the church to be active and serve in the world beyond the four walls of the building. Additionally, Pastor Abby leads youth in grades 6-12 and family ministries while overseeing kids' ministry within Aley.  

Prior to entering full time ministry in 2019, for 8 years Abby was a high school science teacher, softball coach, and Science Olympiad advisor while serving in part time ministry at her home church in Anna, OH. Abby is a fan of the Cincinnati Reds, San Diego Padres, Cincinnati Bengals, and The Ohio State University. She graduated from United Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity and in May 2022 she was fully ordained as a Deacon within the United Methodist Church. For fun Pastor Abby enjoys spending time with her family & friends, working with her hands, reading, and exploring new places. 

Pastor Abby's days off are most often Friday & Saturday.
