Hello Aley Church Friends,
The Apostle Paul shares with us in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”
I hope and pray that you all are well and surviving as best as possible during these different times in our lives. Every day I think of you and am in prayer for the Holy Spirit of God to be revealed to each and everyone of you. In the greatest storms of life we face as followers of God, we can be comforted to know that we are not alone.
I just want to remind everyone that we are continuing to have Drive In Worship Sunday’s at 9am and 11:15am. We are live streaming the 9am service. It will also be posted on Aley Facebook page as well as on the Aley webpage www.aleyumc.org/connect/sermons so that you may watch it later if you miss it at 9.
In case of severe or potentially severe weather, we will be live stream only. This information will be shared on our Facebook page as well as at www.aleyumc.org . We will also send this information through the prayer chain and other email lists available.
As Governor DeWine has requested, I am asking us to wear masks when we are in worship, IF we are not safely distanced from others around us. I appreciate your concern and care for one another.
We are closely watching the impact and growth of COVID-19 in Greene and surrounding counties. When we are safely able, we will transition back into our sanctuary for worship. I realize many are ready for this and many are not. The Church Leadership will strive to make decisions based upon a John Wesley principle to do no harm. I will also remind you that we are in Stage 2 of our church plan.
I do miss you all and continue to look forward to seeing you as you are able to join us in during the Drive-In Worship!
May God Bless you and keep you! May God shine the light of love upon you and may you find and enjoy the peace of Jesus Christ!
Peace,
PB
