Children's Ministries

Children are very important to us at Aley Church.  The staff and volunteers of our children's ministry work hard to provide a safe, caring environment for children to discover and grow their faith in God and Jesus Christ.  Each Sunday morning children of all ages are provided a time of fun and learning.

If you have questions about Children's Ministry opportunities, please contact Jennifer Heaton.

Caring kids

Every Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:30 we will gather together for dinner, fun, games, and an engaging lesson!  Think of Caring Kids as a youth group designed specifically for younger kids.

The first Caring Kids weekly gathering for this school year will be September 8, 2021

COVID Modifications:

-Dinner will be provided, but will be catered in and served (any not comfortable eating catered food may pack their dinner and bring it with them).

-Please bring a mask to be worn at all times, except when eating

Children's Church

Children's Church occurs during Sunday Morning worship for both the 9am and 11:15am service.  Please check-in your kids (age 3 through 5th grade) in the Narthex and then proceed to the sanctuary.  Kids will be dismissed for Children's Church after participating in the opening worship.  Once dismissed, kids will proceed to a safe area behind the narthex where they will have their own church designed just for them!  After service, adults can pick up their kids in the Narthex area using the check-in system.

Sundays @ 10:00a.m.

This group is not currently meeting.

During the 10:00 hour we will meet in room 119 spend time learning about the traditions of the church, what they mean, why they started, and why we continue them!  During November and December we will use part of this time to practice for the Christmas Program too.  If you have not yet checked in your child(ren), please do so at the check-in station located just outside the sanctuary.

While your children are diving into the traditions of the church, take this opportunity to find a group that fits your needs and helps you dive deeper into faith and community.

No nursery is currently available.

Nursery care is provided for infants and toddlers ages 0 to 2 from for all services.  Once the older children are dismissed to go downstairs for children's church parents can bring those needing nursery care to the back where a volunteer will take them to the nursery.  There is a play area provided for them in room 119.
