Children's Ministries

Children are very important to us at Aley Church.  The staff and volunteers of our children's ministry work hard to provide a safe, caring environment for children to discover and grow their faith in God and Jesus Christ.  Each Sunday morning children of all ages are provided a time of fun and learning.

If you have questions about Children's Ministry opportunities, please contact Jennifer Heaton.

Caring kids

Every Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:30 we will gather together for dinner, fun, games, and an engaging lesson!  Think of Caring Kids as a youth group designed specifically for younger kids.

COVID Modifications:

-Dinner will be provided, but will be catered in and served to the youth (any youth not comfortable eating catered food may pack their dinner and bring it with them).

-Please bring a mask to be worn at all times, except when eating

Sundays @ 9 & 11:15a.m.

Sunday School will not resume until the church is in re-opening stage 3.

Traditional Sunday School is offered during the these services for children ranging in ages 3yrs & potty trained-5th grade.  Upon arrival, head to the check-in station located just outside the sanctuary.  Here you will be asked to register your child and get a name tag for both the child(ren) and adult(s) so that after service we can ensure each child is safely picked up by the appropriate adult(s).  Following check-in, children will join the rest of the congregation in the sanctuary for service until Children's Moment.  After Children's Moment, children will go downstairs for a time prepared just for them!  Children will start as one big group and then break into smaller groups after enjoying a snack!

Following service children can be picked up from their classroom; Kindergarten and younger in room 119 and 1st-5th grade in room 118.

Sundays @ 10:00a.m.

This will not resume until the church is in re-opening stage 3.

During the 10:00 hour we will meet in room 119 spend time learning about the traditions of the church, what they mean, why they started, and why we continue them!  During November and December we will use part of this time to practice for the Christmas Program too.  If you have not yet checked in your child(ren), please do so at the check-in station located just outside the sanctuary.

While your children are diving into the traditions of the church, take this opportunity to find a group that fits your needs and helps you dive deeper into faith and community.

No nursery is available until the church is in re-opening stage 3

Nursery care is provided for infants and toddlers ages 0 to 2 from for all services.  Once the older children are dismissed to go downstairs for children's church parents can bring those needing nursery care to the back where a volunteer will take them to the nursery.  There is a play area provided for them in room 119.
