REgional/Global Outreach

Aley is involved in and supports outreach and missions regionally and globally in addition to locally.  We believe God's love and grace are available to ALL and we strive to share that regardless of geographical boundaries.

All In community Re-Entry Kits

"Due to increased exposure to the COVID-19 virus, our neighbors returning from prison are at a higher risk of spreading the coronavirus back into the community. At the same time, incarceration comprises the immune system and one’s overall health, putting COVID-negative returning neighbors at a higher risk of coronavirus affliction upon their return to community. The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) has asked The West Ohio Conference for assistance in  providing hygiene items and face masks to our returning neighbors.

All In Community, the WOC Disaster Response Ministry, and the West Ohio Conference United Methodist Women are challenging our members, churches, and groups to provide 4,000 returning neighbors with a health kit that will better protect the well-being of all community members by reducing the spread of COVID-19." (From West Ohio UMC Website)

Kairos Prison Ministry

The mission of Kairos Prison Ministry is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women and youth, as well as their families, to become loving and productive citizens of their communities.  At Aley, we typically serve at Dayton Correctional Institution (DCI) and Chillicothe Correctional Institution (CCI).

Camp Pallatanga

Aley Church has adopted and actively supports “Camp Pallatanga” in Ecuador. Camp Pallatanga serves as an independent Christian outreach to youth and women in the local province, providing classic ‘church camp’ stays bringing youth and women to Christ. Additionally, Camp Pallatanga serves as a medical ministry center, periodically providing a clinic (staffed by American Doctors) for the region.

For more information about ways you can support ministry at Camp Pallatanga, see "International Missions" below.

International Missions

Aley International Missions consists of a standing ‘stay at home’ team of experienced foreign mission team-members who provide mentorship and practical support for those who are called to mission in a foreign country. So, Aley International Missions can support a mission trip to any country for any mission focus.

Ways to support International Missions:

  • Serve on a Mission Team
  • Volunteer to set-up and man the “Aley International Missions” booth at the annual Beavercreek Popcorn Festival.
  • Pray for Missionary’s, Mission Teams, and Camp Pallatanga
  • Donate to “Aley International Missions”
