Aley Youth Ministry

At Aley Church our youth (grades 6-12) are important to us! We offer Sunday school each Sunday morning (10am) and Youth Group each Sunday night (6:30-8:00pm) in addition to other activities and outings throughout the year. We believe in providing a strong foundation of beliefs for our youth. They are encouraged to discover and develop their faith and understanding of the bible on a personal level. At Aley we understand that not everyone will agree on everything, and that's OK! We encourage youth to develop and take hold of their faith as their own with the Bible as the foundation.

Youth Group

Each Sunday night from 6:30-8:00 youth gather to have fun while deepening relationship with God and each other. A typical youth group gathering includes snacks, games, lesson, and time to just be with other youth in a positive and encouraging environment. Unless otherwise noted, youth group takes place in the white Activities Building (AB) located across the parking lot from the main church building.

Sunday Mornings

Every Sunday morning at 10:00am youth gather together to dive into Scripture and relevant life topics together. It's a time that offers focused, biblical studies and opportunities for small group discussion facilitated by Aley staff and volunteers. Snacks are provided each morning and youth meet in the white Activities Building (AB) located across the parking lot from the main church building.

Special Events

We like to spend time together having lots of fun!  We've gone to Kings Island, had campfires, tried our hand at Escape Rooms, gone canoeing and enjoyed several other fun group activities!  We believe that it's important to have some fun while surrounded with good friends.

Summer camp

Each summer youth are invited to attend Tar Hollow Church Camp. Camp will be July 15-July 20 at Tar Hollow State Park in Laurelville, OH. Camp is open to all youth entering grades 7 through those who just graduated high school. College age students and adults are encouraged to volunteer as staff.  Tar Hollow is a locally led camp that has been in place for over 60 years and is open to all denominations.  The camp was originally founded by Sidney First United Methodist Church but has grown to include campers and staff from over 40 different churches. We spend a week together in fellowship, worship, learning, growing, sharing, and discovery.  It is an excellent opportunity for youth to connect with God and each other.
